Migration Parade : A Collaboration with Director/Cinematographer Kristen Brown
Cinematographer and Director, Kristen Brown, will be creating an artist portrait film that follows the process, development and performance of “Migration Parade: Helical Song”.
KISTEN BROWN is a Montreal-based cinematographer and director, working in documentary, fiction, branded content and experimental cinema. Blending the realism of documentary with the stylization and craft of fiction film, her work shows an unassuming and authentic vision of the world, whether it be in unscripted or in fictionalized narratives. Most notably, Kristen recently worked as a cinematographer and additional director on the 13 part documentary television series screening on APTN called Gespe’gewa’gi: the Last Land, as director and camera operator on the award winning Pair it Forward campaign for the LCBO and as the director of photography on Jamie Ross’s mid-length documentary, Dad can Dance, which is currently in post production.
